Why did I choose to open my law practice in San Diego?
As a lifelong resident of San Diego, I wanted to provide legal services to the community in which I have been an integral part. After attending law school at Western State University College of Law, graduating in 1990, and passing the California Bar in 1991, I decided to practice law in my hometown.
San Diego is home to friends and family, and although it is a fairly large city, San Diego still embraces the qualities of a tight-knit community. And, with great weather all year round and an incredible variety of entertainment opportunities to choose from, I wouldn’t want to live and work anywhere else.
Specializing in personal injury law, I opened my San Diego law firm to fight for the legal rights of local San Diegans as well as clients throughout Southern California who have been injured by the negligence or intentional acts of others. My practice focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death. A large part of my practice is devoted to representing local residents in Kaiser Permanente arbitrations as they pertain to allegations of medical malpractice.
I have received the highest peer rating standard — Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review – for the highest level of professional excellence with respect to my legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards. I’m thankful that my peers in the legal field value me as one of the best lawyers in San Diego.
The best that Southern California has to offer
Living in San Diego, I’m fortunate to be able to experience the best that Southern California has to offer. San Diego is home to some of the finest beaches in the U.S. The Pacific Ocean is great for surfing, kayaking or paddle boarding. The sun shines a good part of the year in San Diego, and the mild temperatures make it ideal for being able to get out and enjoy nature all year round.
And, San Diego is not too far from some excellent getaways. Drive two hours northeast to Bear Mountain for some great winter snowboarding or skiing. To the south, take a trip over the border to Tijuana or some beautiful coastal resorts in Mexico. Head up the coast to the Santa Ynez Valley if you enjoy wine tasting.
For top notch legal services, you can’t beat the lawyers in San Diego. But, wouldn’t you prefer to speak with a lawyer who is a lifelong resident of San Diego?
